From gravity bombs and cruise missiles to multiwarhead ICBMs, the United States nuclear arsenal is incredibly diverse. As a Nuclear Weapons specialist, it will be your job to inspect, maintain, repair, modify and test every aspect of our arsenal from the warheads themselves to the bomb racks in our B-2 Stealth Bombers. You'll need cool nerves and extreme mental discipline to do this job, as not only are you working with delicate materials, but you're also working with a major component of our national defense that simply cannot fail, ever.
After eight-and-a-half weeks of Basic Military Training, every Airman goes to technical training to learn their career. Here's the basic information about Nuclear Weapons technical training:
